Three people were injured Monday night after an SUV and an e-bike collided in Fullerton, according to authorities.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Orangethorpe and Basque avenues, the Fullerton Police Department said.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found that an adult male riding the e-bike had been seriously injured. He was transported to a trauma center for treatment.

Two people who were inside the SUV also sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.

Police have not yet determined what caused the collision, and no information has been released regarding possible fault. The investigation remains ongoing.
